Youth Health Service, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to help facilitate outpatient behavioral health services for children and families in the West Virginia counties of Randolph (main site), Pocahontas, Tucker, Upshur, Barbour, and Lewis.

Internship Programs
Youth Health Service works cooperatively with a number of colleges, universities, and job shadowing and training programs to provide an enriching, clinically grounded learning experience for students interested in the social work, psychology, medical, sociology, other human service and educational fields. Interested students, professors, or job placement agencies should call the main office in Elkins at 304.636.9450 to discuss available opportunities.
Volunteer
There are a variety of ways volunteers may contribute to the promotion of child mental health services and early childhood education at YHS. These might include entertaining children in the waiting room, organizing libraries and other resources, and fund raising, just to name a few. Volunteers who are working on site and with children are subject to the same security screening required for employees including the completion of an application, reference checks, and background checks.
Work Study at YHS
Students in college level nursing, psychology, and human services programs may be eligible to complete their required internships at YHS. YHS has hosted students from West Virginia University, Davis and Elkins College, Alderson-Broddeus College, Glenville State College, West Virginia Wesleyan, and Fairmont State College. Students interested may call the main site in Elkins to speak with someone about placement options.
